Hi! I'm Lloyd!
I am a freelance illustrator, author, and sometimes animator based in the UK.
My first book, The Princess And The Fog, a picture book I wrote and illustrated about a young girl who begins to suffer from depression, was released in June 2015 by Jessica Kingsley Publishers. It was received very well by critics and readers alike and won the Bronze Indiefab award in the 2015 Early Reader, Picture Book category. An indirect sequel, about anxiety, The Nervous Knight, came out January 2021. The Elf, The Princess and the Impossible Shoe, about perfectionism, came out November 2023
Outside of picture books, I also make artwork for Let’s Players and streamers. In recent years I have also gotten into making video games. And I also take other commissions and make all sorts of miscellaneous self-directed pieces.
I like to make things that are cute, funny, messy and colourful, using a mix of traditional and digital media. I am very flexible in the way I work, which makes my work adaptable for all kinds of briefs, and enjoyable to look at for people of all ages.
